Hi, We’re CJ Sitters!

Allow us to introduce ourselves, we’re Chris & Jess, a couple with a passion for pets! We began our pet sitting journeys separately in 2018 and started working as a team in the summer of 2019. As a dynamic duo, we have come together to create a unique pet sitting experience your furry friend will enjoy & give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. When your pet is with us, we treat them like family and provide them with the love & attention they deserve while you’re away. Alongside our team members, we have built a business around the concept of providing a fun, relaxing and safe experience for all pets in our care. We are located in Ewing, NJ and primarily provide our services in the Mercer County area but can be flexible! We love what we do & we’d love to help YOU!

Meet the Team

  • Chris

    Hi, I’m Chris and I’m one of the founders of CJ Sitters. I am originally from Kansas (Go Chiefs!) and moved to New Jersey back in 2013. Having grown up with pets my whole life, I know just what your loved ones need while in our care. With over 15 years of pet sitting experience, I believe in making strong connections with owners & their pets and providing comfort in knowing your pet is in good hands. When I’m not working or caring for canines, I enjoy exploring new places, bowling, and spending time with family & friends.

  • Jess

    Hey! I’m Jess, a former teacher and the co-founder and content provider for CJ Sitters! After 10 years of teaching, I knew my passion was with the pups! I have been providing pet care for 10+ years and have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, and believe it or not, chickens! I am always looking for new opportunities to connect with owners & form a lasting bond with their pets. When I’m not pet-sitting I enjoy hanging with friends, hiking, and cooking!

    Hello! I’m Hailey, one of the team members, next door neighbors and close friends to Chris & Jess. Being located right next door, it gives me the flexibility to step in and provide help when needed. As a dog mom of 3 wonderful pups, I have plenty of years of experience and am happy to provide your pet with the love and attention they need while in my care! In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time at the gym, and hanging with friends!
