When a last minute trip popped up, the first thing that crossed our minds was, “who could possibly take care of our elderly dog and 5mo puppy?” In a million years I never would have thought about leaving a new puppy, but when a friend gave me a referral for CJ Sitters boy was I relieved! Sampson stayed with Jess and Chris for a week recently during our much needed family vacation. We can't say enough great things about just how wonderful they were with Sampson. He is a very timid pup and they did an absolutely amazing job making him feel comfortable and let him acclimate at his own pace with lots of praise and love....and of course treats! They were very communicative with us the entire time we were away, sending pictures and videos. They treated Sampson like he was one of their own and gave us such piece of mind that Sampson was being well taken care of and having a little vacation of his own. Harper’s first visit with CJ Sitters was a most “pawsitive” experience. Harper has found a home away from home and surrogate parents, who love her little quirkiness and lovable attitude. Jess and Chris couldn't be more wonderful! Sandy has stayed in their home multiple times and she is treated like one of their own. She plays with their dog and the other dogs that are there, gets to run free in their huge fenced in backyard, and I'm pretty sure she even sleeps in their bed with them :). We don't worry for one second about Sandy when she is with CJ Sitters and get the biggest smile when I get multiple photo and video updates of her while we are away. We were having such anxiety thinking about leaving our fur baby at a previously used boarding facility mainly bc we never got to see where our pup would be staying. When I found CJ Sitters and reached out to them they set up a meet and greet which was such a relief for us knowing they go out of their way to make sure not only that our dog is comfortable but also that it’s a good fit for their dog and set up. We left Bauer for 10 days and they were so nice to provide daily updates reassuring to us that he was happy and comfortable. Bauer felt at home I’m sure because he was in a home. Chris and Jess gave him hugs and love just like we do. They truly love dogs and it was such a great, positive experience for both Bauer and all of us. Chris was very accommodating. My request was very last minute, but he accepted. He was also kind and helpful throughout this process. It was the first time using a sitter and leaving Zemi with anyone besides myself. I was given updates throughout Zemi’s entire stay. He even sent me pictures of my little furry cat child. Jess did a great job with our pitbull mix Lucy. Not only did she treat our dog well, but she respected our apartment during her visit. Our dog can sometimes be a handful while our on walks with her reactivity to certain stimuli, but Jess seemed to handle it well. Thanks Jess!
